ABOUT ME

Consultant Gastroenterologist providing expert personalised care

I am a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Ashford & St Peter’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust & Royal Surrey Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. I am currently the head of Endoscopy in my hospital. I have a particular interest in endoscopy, diagnostic and therapeutic , including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP and endoscopic ultrasound. My other areas of interest include reflux disease and Barrett's oesophagus, inflammatory bowel disease, fatty liver disease and cirrhosis.

I love teaching, both at the undergraduate and post graduate level. I am an examiner at the MRCP PACES examination.

I aim to provide personalised, expert, evidence based care in luminal gastroenterology and in liver diseases.

I am married with 2 boys aged 17 and 18(now off to med school). When not busy with work, I spend my time flying a Piper.
